Reconstructive techniques, like inpainting and
lining, attempt to replicate areas in a painting
that have been irretrievably lost.

Proper reconstruction modifies only the
disruption of the damaged area and not the
original integrity of the work of art.
Watt Restoration strictly abides by the American
Institute of Conservation Code of Ethics in
utilizing reversible materials in our
reconstruction and repair. These materials can
be easily and safely removed for future
restoration.
