CLEANING
A painting surface collects dirt and grime. If the surface is a varnish coating, the varnish ages and changes color and clarity. The surface can be cleaned and the discolored varnish cleared. It takes special tools, chemically balanced solutions, an experienced eye, and an adept hand to clean a painting.
